10/16/2007 Edison NJ Entrusted by CCTV, China's biggest TV station, under the direction of Yang Yi, ECPAC has successfully hosted the 1st CCTV Chinese Instrument Competition - US Eastern Regional Competition. 52 semi-finalists from the surrounding 6 states joined the final competition.

09/08/2006 Visual Arts Center of New Jersey , Summit, NJ 07901 ECPAC members performed at the opening night of "Contemporary Chinese art" exhibition, which showcases a remarkable global phenomenon in the world of contemporary art.
06/22/2006 West Windsor Arts Council, West Windsor / Princeton, NJ West Windsor Arts Council presents its groundbreaking Music Festival: featuring a variety of string instruments from the globe. A special 60 minute music presentation on guzheng has been presented by ECPAC music director Yang Yi.
05/27/2006 Westminster Conservatory, Princeton, NJ Members of ECPAC - Yang Yi, Chen Yihan and Li Liqun, along with 26 students from Yang Yi Guzheng Academy performed at the "Concert in Memory of Prof. Qiu Dacheng", presented by ECPAC & Yang Yi Guzheng Academy. Ms. Yang dedicated this concert to her conservatory mentor, Mr. Qiu Da Cheng, to commemorate his lifelong commitment to promoting Chinese Guzheng music education.

2/6/2006 West Windsor Arts Council, New Jersey. ECPAC Music Director Yang Yi presented ECPAC and its music programs with musical demonstrations to hundreds of leaders of NJ Arts organizations at the West Windsor Arts Council's "2006 INTROS" event.
2/4/2006 The State Theater of New Jersey, New Jersey. Chinese music masters Yang Yi (guzheng), Li Liqun (yangqun), and Chen Yihan (pipa), appeared at the "2006 Hua Xia Chinese New Year Spectacular" - A Chinese New Year Concert by highly regarded Chinese musicians from both China and America. This program is presented by Hua Xia Chinese School, which consists of dozens of branch schools throughout New Jersey and New York area.

01/22/06 Wilkins Theater at Kean University, New Jersey Presented by Wilkins Theater, "Nature of Spirit" ensemble, which consists of Chinese music masters Gao Hong (pipa), Yang Yi (guzheng), Chen Tao (flute), Wang Hong (erhu) and Zhao Yang Qin (yangqin), performed the best of Chinese folk, classical, court, silk and bamboo music on dozens of traditional bowed strings, plucked strings, winds and percussion instruments concert.

Yang Yi guzheng Solo performance at the Opening Ceremony for the college's "Experience Asia Month"program ,the start of the first annual month-long Asian and Asian American cultural awareness multicultural programs that the school coordinates on campus at the College of New Jersey.

08/27/05 Asian Culture Center, Edison, New Jersey Yang Yi served as a panalist at the semi-final competition of the 2005 East Coast Chinese-American Vocal competition.
08/05/05 Studio in New Jersey Yang Yi recorded multiple guzheng music (some improvisations) for a CD (Children's Phonics in Music) created by David Rimelis. Her music, named as "Zoe Zither", teaches Children the letter "Z", which stands for "Zither".
07/26/05 Brooklyn, New York Multiple improvisation pieces on gu-zheng was recorded by Yang Yi for movie "Linked Hybrid". In addition, collaborative music were also improvised by Yang Yi, as well as Balkan Beat Box and Shot Net

Guzheng Concerto by Yang Yi (by famous German composer, Prof. Dr. Lutz-Werner Hesse) with Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, a Category "A" German orchestra. Conducted by Mr. George Hanson, named by Musical America as “Young Musician of the Year?and 1st prizes winner in both the Leopold Stokowski and Hungarian International Conducting competitions.
